BLITHE x C&F Makeup Class

Two weeks ago I've got the chance to attend a makeup class that were held by C&F Indonesia and Blithe Cosmetic. What makes it interesting is the theme and the MUA that were present was Seo Hee Young, she's an MUA from South Korea. She's from a famous beauty shop named House of Jenny in South Korea, where their client, including so many top stars and celebrity. Seo Hee Young has worked with top actresses like Claudia Kim, Park Shin Hye, Han Hyo Joo etc.

Blithe Cosmetic is a beauty brand from South Korea that focusing on skincare using a natural ingredients. Their new series called INBETWEEN were a hybrid between skincare and makeup. The series intended as a primer before the makeup to make a dewy and glowing skin. I think all the product they have is really good and very hydrating to the skin.

The makeup class theme was a Natural makeup, Ms. Heeyoung said to achieve a natural makeup like Korean celebrity, is a facial expression. We need to know our facial expression and how to enhance it.

After removing our face with Anti-polluaging Cleansing Water, we were told to massage our face with Pressed Serum Crystal Iceplant. Ms. Heeyoung giving us a demonstration on how doing the massage, she's said Korean celebrity got the massage treatment before makeup to reduce a bloated face. The massage not only good for our blood circulation, but also to defining our facial structure.

After the whole massage process, we used the Patting Splash Mask on the cotton pads with the new product from Blithe which is the INBETWEEN Aurora Second Skin Setting Mist. The measurement would be, one pour of the mask, then four sprays of the setting mist. It worked as a toner, all the dirt just came off really well with it.

To priming the face, we used the INBETWEEN series, start from the Makeup Prep. Essence, and then the Instant Glowing Cream, we used at the area where we want it to be more plump, I'm using it in my cheekbones, and on my temple. After the skin absorbs it, I'm using the Tone Correcting Cream all over my face, to get a brighten skin. The prime cream was done, we are finishing it with the Aurora Setting Mist once again, just spraying all over the face. The whole priming really makes my skin plump and hydrate.

Priming done, time for the makeup. We put the darker tone foundation as a face contour, then putting the foundation with our own skin tone all over the face. Putting a liquid blush with peach color on our apple of the cheek very thinly. Then we draw our brows. Ms. Heeyoung told us that Korean people love to do their eyebrows naturally with a brown color pencil brows.
Before & After

For the eyes, we are using the brown and beige color on the lids, and at the under eye, we are using a  sparkly champagne color to make it more awake and bright. Ms. Heeyoung demonstrate the eyelash curler with a stick that were heated with lighter to mimic a flat iron. She said it's lifting the eyelash better, we also could do it with a normal curler, just heat up the curler with a hair dryer. As the eyelash still fresh from the curler, we used a mascara and to make it more natural, we brush it with a spoolie.

Eyes are done, we are dusting a bronzer very, very lightly on the lower cheekbone, jaw,and hairline. Then using a peach color powder blush on the cheek. Finishing the contour with a powder highlighter on the high cheekbone, cupid bows, and a bit on the nose. The last step would be the lips, we used a peach color tint.

Me and Ms. Seo Heeyoung

That's all the steps to get a glowing and dewy skin like a Korean celebrity. It looks very natural and really makes me feel beautiful. After the class ended, it's the photo session and lunch. It's such a fun day, I really enjoy the whole event.
