I'm Amira. I come from Indonesia and currently live in Bogor. I’m the kind of person who stays quiet in a room but talks a lot on paper. Writing is how I untangle thoughts, feelings, and tiny emotions that don’t always make it into conversations. This blog exists as a safe space where I can gather my thoughts, share stories, be honest, and be completely myself.

"A" is derived from my own name, Amira. The A Word means The Amira Word. It represents my perspective, my voice, and the way I see the world. Here, you’ll find my take on lifestyle and the little things that catch my attention along the way.

My passion is arts and anything related to colors, obviously, as well as fashion. But The A Word is not all about fashion. It was a personal style blog at first but then evolved into more than that. I covered some book reviews, music playlists, food recipes, beauty tips, and other things that relate to lifestyle. I also like to take inspiration from celebrities, movies, and anything that catches my attention from my everyday moments.

I’m a Leo girl (yes, ruled by the sun ✨), a little dramatic, warm-hearted, and expressive in my own way. I enjoy quiet moments with hot chocolate, a good book, and peaceful surroundings. When it comes to social life, I keep it simple: watching movies, trying new culinary spots, and spending time with friends at sleepovers. Nothing fancy, just real, cozy, and meaningful.
