Triple Treat Lychee Jelly

      There is nothing perfect than a jelly dessert for the summer. This recipe is great if you like something light and easy to do. I'm using a lychee flavor jelly, you could try a different flavor as your liking. It's a good companion with green tea, sweet and refreshing.

Ingredients :

Base Layer 
  • 1 packet of milk biscuits (I'm using Regal Marie biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter


Middle Layer 

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbs agar-agar powder
  • 1 cup milk 
  • 1 tbs all purpose flour

Top Layer

  • 4 cup of water
  • 1 packet Lychee flavor jelly
  • 1/2 cup sugar

How To :

  1. Crush the biscuits with food processor, then put it in a large bowl, then add the melted butter, mixed it until well combined.
  2. You can use a baking tin or plastic container, press the biscuit mixture until solid at the bottom. Put it into the fridge to harden.
  3. In a pan, mix the middle layer ingredients and stirred it until it thicken on medium heat. Set aside. After cooling down a bit, pour the mixture on top of the base layer, then put it in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
  4. On another pan, put the top layer ingredients together and mix it while stirring on medium heat until boiling. Set aside to cool down.
  5. Pour the jelly mixture on top of the middle layer and put it into the fridge for 30 minutes or an hour to set.
