Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink

      I have been wanting to review this, and finally it's here. I'm trying three shades of Superstay Matte Ink from Maybelline.I have the original series shade called Lover, Delicate from City series, and Driver from the Un-Nude series. I bought this at the Maybelline counter in my city. very easy to get and the color range are massive. I did have a difficulty in choosing the color that I want. I think the shades are intended to complimenting many skin tones.

      The packaging looks very modern with white cap and colorful tube matching the product color. The silver font is very chic for me, and the rectangular body really gives a personality to the product. There is no box for the packaging, but I'm okay with that. The quantity is 5.0 ml for each product.

      The wand applicator is very unique for me, it's not a typical lip wand. I think the hollow in the center is for the cream to fill in and it makes for a perfect one swipe to the lips. So, you don't have to dip in the wand too many times for a whole lips. The brush is flexible and the pointy side is great for the curved area in the lips. 

      The claim said it will stay on your lips for +-16 hours, and it's not a joke, it's really stay still for a long long time, especially if you're not eating or drinking. It's good for you who is a lazy person on touching up your lips every time you eat. Though while eating, it's only budge a bit on the center, and re-applying the product as easy as the first time. The consistency is quite thick and very creamy. I only need to wait 2-3 minutes for the cream to set into matte finish. 

      The shades are very pretty. Lover is a pink mauve with a cool undertone, Delicate is a pink peach, warm nude which is perfect for the summer, and there is Driver, it's not end well with my skin tone as the nude color are really pale and it washed out my face. But, I used it as a lip based if I want to make a gradation lip. 

      The Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink is such a perfection, even though it really drying my lips, I'm super impressed with the staying period. I think I'm quite obsessed with this one, would love to buy another color in the future.
