BLACKPINK Dominates Coachella 2023 With Electrifying Performances & Fashion

BLACKPINK makes Coachella history at 2023 festival

      It's been a long time since I've been writing here, but now I'm back again. Now it's time to get excited because BLACKPINK is back and better than ever! The world-famous K-pop group, consisting of members Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa, recently took the stage at Coachella 2023 and left the crowd absolutely mesmerized. With their incredible vocals, stunning choreography, and show stopping outfits, BLACKPINK at Coachella 2023 proved once again why they are one of the biggest and most beloved acts in the music industry.

      As a fan from their debut till now, I can't fathom how proud I'm to see the girls who became Coachella subliner in 2019 at the Sahara stage, and now as the headliner in 2023. 

 BLACKPINK opened their stage with the newest song 'Pink Venom,' followed by 'Kill This Love,' with energetic moves, and vibrant stage design. They then sang 'How You Like That,' 'Kick It,' and 'Whistle (Extended Outro),' all of which had the audience singing and dancing along together. The dancer also took the center stage, allowing the BLACKPINK members to take a little rest and prepare their solo show. Then after the break, the members doing their solo performance, started with Jennie's "You & Me", afterwards was Jisoo's "Flower", Rosé's "Gone + On The Ground", and lastly Lisa's "Money".

     Their flawless vocals and precision dance moves had everyone in the audience on their feet, singing along and dancing along with the infectious beat. From there, they transitioned seamlessly into their  earlier songs such as "BOOMBAYAH," "Lovesick Girls," and "PLAYING WITH FIRE" in the second half of their concert, followed by songs from their most recent album such as "Typa Girl," "Shut Down," and "TALLY". That night's performance was concluded with their hit song “DDU-DU DDU-DU”, and “FOREVER YOUNG” that leaves the crowd in awe.

      But it wasn't just their talent that left fans in awe, it was also their incredible stage outfits. BLACKPINK is known for their fashion-forward style, and they did not disappoint at Coachella 2023. One of my favorite, if you see at BLACKPINK Coachella 2023 photos, they wore a coordinated yet individual black and pink Dolce & Gabbana costumes for the opening acts. Jennie stunned in a black leather crop bolero, and pink corset top, with knee-high boots, while Jisoo rocked a pink halter neck crop top, with a black hot pants and dramatic ruffled details. Rosé kept it chic in a black romper with pink ruffled, and accompanied with a statement belt, while Lisa dazzled in a sparkling black top ensemble with a black laced-up hot pants. The girls' outfits perfectly complemented each other, and they all looked gorgeous on stage.

      They shine brightly while performing their solo songs. Jennie with the white ballerina core, entrusting her bejeweled top and mini tutu skirt, Jisoo with her red flower inspired dress, Rosé with the urban chic rocker theme in black leather jacket and silver dangling top, and Lisa with swag vibe in her striking silver bodycon. Near the end of the show, they change it to another ensemble in black costumes that giving them a fiercer look. 

      That's why I'm going share with you a BLACKPINK Coachella inspired outfits to give you some ideas if you want to emulate their look. Maybe this will be your go-to look for attending Coachella next year.

      This is how you'll appear stylish, inspired by Jennie's pink corset top. With a corset top as the focal point, teamed with a comfortable bike short, sophisticated black leather bolero, buckled boots, and fringe hobo bag. This outfit is appropriate for the desert climate, which is scorching during the day and freezing at night. Wear a tulle scarf around your waist to complete your festival looks. Don't forget about the glittering eye makeup.

      Jisoo's solo song "Flower" influenced this one. I adore matching flowery details, such as this halter top with flower petal appliqué on the chest. The top will look fantastic when paired with the ruffled skirt, creating a dramatic fairy effect. Floral necklace and earrings completed the entire look. Putting together the adorable flower sunglasses and floral eye makeup for the desert festivities.

      Instead of wearing a romper like Rosé, I chose the glittering sequined mini dress since it has a romantic touch to it, especially with the ruffled detail on the hem. The combat boots, leather belt, and mesh purse will give a contrast appearance, giving a rocker chic appeal. The lace gloves lend a touch of sexiness to the desert feel. Use a bold color mascara to draw attention to your entire appearance.

      Lisa, the youngest member, exudes effortless charm. That's why a beautiful halter crop top when combined with a laced little skirt will show off your alluring side. Some fun looking jewelry or accessories will add the finishing touch to the festival's fanfare. Nothing can go wrong if you wear high knee leather boots; they elevate your entire outfit. Wear a one-of-a-kind hue of contact lenses for an alien in the desert vibe.

      I may not be experiencing BLACKPINK Coachella 2023 live at the desert as I streamed it on Coachella YouTube channel, but it's always nice to be excited about their music, performances, and wardrobe. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them!
