Movienspiration : RIVERDALE

      I know I'm quite late to bringing you this latest trendy fascinating tv series "RIVERDALE" as the theme. I was quite pessimistic at first when The CW announced they will adapting Archie comics into a television series. But, after I watched it, I love it. Literally loving it, i'm not joking that I love the mystery and teenage life also the gossip and all that jazz in this series. The CW is deliberately taking this series to another whole level for me.

      I like to point out the whole aesthetic this TV series provide to our eyes. God, the dim blue neon light with black background and how the POP's looks like at night is sooooo good!

I'm not joking when it comes to artistic design, I'm excited as F*, lol. The blue surrounding to imply the mystery element. While the bright and warm environment indicates the whole image of the first people who come to small town Riverdale are thinking. 

      The main character outfit not only very trendy, but also establishing the personality each character has. That's why there are so many people and maybe you, who like to take some of their ingredients into your own personal style. Though some of you aren't in Highschool anymore like me, we could build it into more mature approach. 

Then let's go to the fun part, I'm giving you some ideas on how to dress like the main characters, enjoy!

Archie Andrews

      This fine looking dude is a heartthrob for us the viewer. Who doesn't like Archie? the main heroes in Archie comic. But this series, making Archie more manly and very handsome, indeed. He is joining a football team and also want to pursue music. Put on your shirt, boyfriend jeans and a varsity jacket to embody Archie's style. Paired the whole outfit with a football theme bag to add more fun.

 

Jughead Jones

      The writer of the gang and also the member of the Southside Serpents. Jughead is an social outcast that looking very good isn't he? and sweet. I mean, look at how over blowing chemistry he had with Betty. Put on your diy leather jacket with colorful words you can paint and don't forget to add crown like accessories. In the comic, Jughead wear a crown headpiece, but in the series, he is wearing a beanie with crown detail. 

Betty Cooper

      The sweet girl next door, and a fan of Nancy Drew. Betty style has a feminine silhouette and a bit of modernity. Her outfit consist of neutral colored and pinkish undertone. Her signature is the ponytail hair, add your favorite crunches or hairbands for this look.

Veronica Lodge

      The new girl in town whose a former it girl. Veronica style always sophisticated and have a modern feel into it. As she said "For the sake of my mother pearls," she also like to wear pearls as her statement accessories. Paired a crop top, high waist plaid skirt with pearl choker to add some intensity. 

Cheryl Blossom

      Well. Cheryl is an It-wealthy girl from the Riverdale High. Her cold demeanor sometimes fooling people, she's a sweet girl inside. She like to wear a powerful color like black, red and white, depends on her mood and circumstances. Luxury fabric also her statement along with her beloved spider brooch. 

 

Kevin Keller

      The GBF (Gay best friend) of Betty and Veronica, he isn't afraid to open himself about his identity. His look is more preppy side, with a neutral color sweater, stripe button shirt and chinos pants, add a clutch like the one from Olympia Le-Tan for a bit of edgy vibe.

Josie McCoy

      The lead singer from Josie and The Pussycat. Her diva aura never going down, paired a powerful leopard boot with leather pants for the impact. Her confidence is her true outfit. Be confident and you can nail her style.
